About
Alex is an associate attorney at Nochumson P.C. who focuses his practice on zoning and land use matters. He works closely with developers, architects, homeowners, and city agencies on zoning relief, licensing, tax abatements, and tax assessment appeals. His clients value his attention to detail, creative problem solving, and keen ability to think on his feet.
In addition to practicing law, Alex is an active member of the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia and the Urban Land Institute of Philadelphia. He also participates in the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Board Observer Program.
Prior to joining Nochumson P.C., Alex worked in the zoning and land use department at a midsized law firm in Philadelphia. At the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, Alex served as a lead editor for its Law Review and was a member of its Moot Court Board. He also served as a judicial intern at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and worked as a law clerk at law firms specializing in land use and zoning law.
