In a seminar jointly sponsored by the Homeowners Association of Philadelphia (HAPCO) and the Diversified Real Estate Investor Group (DIG), Alan Nochumson provided an general overview on how property owners in Philadelphia can obtain real estate tax abatements and other real estate tax incentives when they either rehabilitate an existing building structure or newly construct a building structure.
During the seminar, Nochumson emphasized the strict deadlines imposed by the City of Philadelphia in applying for these real estate tax abatements and other real estate tax incentives and the pitfalls many property owners face and must overcome during the application and approval process.
